Having first started this most challenging of sites being on a 1 in 5 slope in the worst of the winter weather, PolySteel ICFs soon came into their own allowing the developer to quickly establish the many retaining walls that were required to make the site workable and then continue onward and upward ensuring the construction works remained on schedule and the show home could be opened during the more favourable summer months. A feat that would have been impossible if the site had been built with traditional materials and which totally justifies the decision of Chelbury Homes to use Insulating Concrete Formwork across a new development site.
