Grand Designs in ICF
Central to the 2007 Housing Design Award Overall Winner in Tabard Square near London Bridge Station is the Pavilion – a unique copper-roofed structure which is set to become a local landmark when it opens as a café restaurant.
Designed by project architects Rolfe Judd for developer Berkeley Homes, the insulated concrete shell of the building was completed by specialist contractor Walltec Ltd using the Beco Wallform ICF system, which proved to be the quickest, most practical and economic method of building this complex structure.
