Mission Statement
The ICFA’s mission is to grow themarket share for this Efficient Modern Method of Construction in the UK to reach a minimum 10% market share of above ground external walls of domestic residences by 2016 when Carbon Neutral, Code Star level 6 Homes will be required for all new Homes in the UK. In addition ICF homes including those with basements should be seen as the market leading house construction for building on flood plains. It is expected that by 2010 a number of Robust Details will be in position to assist ICF development in adjoining properties including flats giving the required extra sound insulation performance to gain the extra points available properties including flats giving the required extra sound insulation performance to gain the extra points available in the Code for Sustainable Homes ...enhanced acoustics section.
