ECO FRIENDLY

NUDURA TECHNOLOGY

  1) DURA LOK Technology™
Our patented Fastening Strip securely locks forms into place with a patented reversible triple tooth interlock eliminating float and compression and the need to tie forms. The DURALOK  Technology™ has embedded  web/fastening strips that run the full 457mm height of each and every web, ensuring forms do not compress during concrete placement and provide and industry leading continuous fastening strip for finish materials.

2) DURA FOLD Technology™
Our Patented Hinged Web allows NUDURA to be shipped flat, allowing for 40% more product on a lorry compared to other Insulated Concrete Forms.  The patented technology also eliminates costly assembly time on the job site and allows one person the ability to easily carry 3.345 square metres of wall form from the lorry to the storage area and allows greater on-site storage capabilities.

3) DURA MAX Technology™
NUDURA® Standard Forms offer DURAMAX Technology™ the largest standard Insulated Concrete Form in the industry measuring 2438mm x 457mm, allowing the placement of 1.115 square metres of wall area in one building step. Building with DURAMAX Technology™ results in faster installation times, less waste and a reduced amount of seams compared to other Insulated Concrete Forms.

4) 4-WAY REVERSIBLE System
The patented foam interlock allows the form to be 4 way reversible, almost eliminating waste.  Eliminates left and right corners which allow NUDURA Forms to be used in twice as many scenarios as non reversible forms. The NUDURA 4-Way Reversible system offers superb flexibility in-field, automatically doubling form usage whenever a half height form may be required, virtually eliminating waste when constructing gable end walls, since both halves of the cut form can be used.

NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms are tested to the highest standards providing the safest, most comfortable living or working environments and actively maintains a wide variety of code approvals for the UK and Europe.

First Net Zero Energy Public School the United States being built using NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms.

 

      

When Richardsville Elementary School opens in 2010, this school will be the first Net Zero Energy Public School in the United States.

The designation of net-zero for this building means that it will be so energy efficient that over the course of a year, its solar energy panels (over 3716m2 mounted on rooftop and support structures) will offset the electricity it takes from the grid.  The building will have reduced energy consumption - 75 percent less when compared to the national average energy consumption of school buildings.
